Yep! That's right guys.....im transferring to blogspot. Why? Coz customizing blog design in blogspot is better compared to friendster. Starting this month of February, i am not gonna post any new entry here on friendster blog, all new blog entries of mine will be posted on blogspot. God bless us all!

P.S. Thanks to those readers who gave comments on this blog.

Maktub!

Better to be late than never......at last I was able to read the phenomenal book of Paulo Coehlo, The Alchemist ( i've read it not just once, but twice!).

Alchemist

I really wanted to read the book ever since, my college peers have read it way back 2003 and most people have included the alchemist on their "favourite books" on their friendster account profiles. After four years of longing of having it, i finally got one...haha (as a gift request from someone) last December. The reason why I read it twice is due to my personal belief that if you read it more than once, you'll be able to go to abroad (hehehe). I have two friends who have read it two times and now both of them are working abroad. I've got a friend who also wanted to work abroad but read it once.....unitl now she's still working here in the Philippines. So i read the book twice, hoping that i will join my other colleagues living now on different parts of the planet.

I won't summarize the story on this blog for the sake of those who have not read it. All in all, the paulo's story was very good, and it was very pleasurable to read ; I highly recommend it to all the pessimists out there (hehehe) and of course to those people who wants to live their life outside this country.

Best part of the story for me is when the sun and Santiago were having conversation. The best line : "when you really want something to happen, the whole universe conspires so that your wish comes true" . Very powerful words. very powerful.

Sydney, New York, Kenya, Europe, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong,India, London, LA, Jerusalem, San Carlos de Bariloche..... which one of you shall I go first? Get ready, im coming to your places very very soon! "MAKTUB"!!!!!

Halo halo!

Ang bilis no? its already 2008.... i could still remember December 31, 1999.... everybody had a small fear inside their hearts that time as the year 2000 approaches, remember the Y2K bug? the panic buyings due to the preparation of Y2K....hahaha.

I used to jot down on my planner my goals and my gameplans every start of the year. this year is different, until now this year's plans and goals of mine are still on my mind. Lazy boy. Ok, for you guys , i'll write a glimpse of my goals on this entry for the year 2008::

1. Attend hillsong live recording this coming march.....dream on doy....dream on
2. Attend the opening ceremony of Beijing olympics.....comments anyone?
3. Visit mickey, minnie and their friends with my barkada in hong kong disney land.....rodel...ahemmmmm!!!!
4. have my own business ( im saving na my money for this goal..... i do have 175 pesos and fifty cents in my coin bank....applause applause)
5. zzzzz.... yan na lang muna, isusulat ko na lang sa planner ko sa saturday, hehehe

by rhe way, most of my goals last year were granted by God, a new job, i got not one not two but three cellphones!!!! (yun nga lang hindi mga latest, Thank You Lord still). Lord, pwede ba iphone this year? I know you can provide me one, but that is according to Your will hehehe.God is good! yeah, God is great.
God even let me experience how to become a winner on a TV Quiz show ( 1 vs 100 ) and He also gave me a chance to meet Switch Foot. 2007 was really a blast! Awesome year.
I've met lots of new friends, like the people from red box and eco, reeya and switchfoot street team, 100 voice cantata choir people, enrico and donna of 1 vs 100, new people from ANLCC, red box ojts CJ and Jon, and many more. Beautiful people.

The start of the year has a lot of surprises also; up to now, i cant believe that Tito Andrew is in heaven, now he's having a" pure and real" worship with GOD. To Maam Pearl, be strong, God is great! He knows what is best to all of us. to be continued na lang..... i have to go. By the way watch out for September 24 this year...i know something is gonna happen on that day.....basta.

Addicted to this song

I've heard this song playing on the radio so many times, and i want to share it with you pax. The song was written by Chicago, and now jed madela revived the song together with Gary V. Its quite addicting nga..enjoy listenning.

Hard habit to break
Chicago

I guess I thought youd be here forever
Another illusion I chose to create
You dont know what ya got until its gone
And I found out just a little too late

I was acting as if you were lucky to have me
Doin you a favor I hardly knew you were there
But then you were gone and it was all wrong
Had no idea how much I cared

Chorus:
Now being without you
Takes a lot of getting used to
Should learn to live with it
But I dont want to
Living without you
Is all a big mistake
Instead of getting easier
Its the hardest thing to take
Im addicted to ya babe
Youre a hard habit to break

You found someone else you had every reason
You know I cant blame you for runnin to him
Two people together but living alone
I was spreading my love too thin

After all of these years
Im still tryin to shake it
Doin much better they say that it just takes time
But deep in the night its an endless flight
I cant get ya out of my mind

Chorus

2nd chorus:
Being without you
Takes a lot of getting used to
Should learn to live with it
I dont want to
Being without you
Is all a big mistake
Instead of getting any easier
Its the hardest thing to take
Im addicted to you
Youre a hard habit to break

2007 Year Ender

May be you guys are laughin' at this entry's title....a year ender at the sixth of december 2007...haha. who cares? This is my blog....this is my place....this is my space! I can write whatever i want to write.....agree right????

For me, this years is far better than 2006. Honestly speaking this is a good year for me...... a year of explorations and adventures. A year that challeged me a lot and a year that is blessed by the grace of GOD...hallelujah!!!! I must admit that 2006 was a year of grievances, complaints, rebellion...what else, unfair competition, pessimism but look what what the Lord has done in 2007! This is a yearwhere I really rely on God's promises. And I praise and thank Him a lot for giving me the opportunity to experience all the things that happened to me for this year.

So many things had happened, so many things have learned....and sometimes, the stubborness never left me from the mistakes that ive created from the past, yet the LORD is so gracious that HE always forgives me and gives not only me but all of us many chances to stand again and walk firmer in our daily lives..... gonna back to work.....to be continued....

november.....

Ok, long vacation is over....eh....it wasnt a vacation at all, painting the ceiling is no joke, but at least it was one of my accomplished project for this year. i was also able to paint our walll of our dining area with deep deep red paint, it was good, it reminds me of starbucks ha,....the old mechanical clock that hangs on it makes the wall more beautiful. after a day of cleaning the whole house, we were rewarded by watching die hard 4.0. Woah, it was an awesome movie. Full action. Astig.

its the fifth day of november and i cant wait to see the leonids again( it occurs annually on the mid of this month). i could still remember the late night of nov 19, 2001, it was the most awesome show ive ever seen ( better than the annual world pyro olympics), it was jaw dropping experience. i was wishing that time for 200+ .....yes no kidding guys! it was a glorius night.... for only an hour, i witnessed 200 falling stars crossing accross the night sky....imagine that! It was wonderful. The most spectacular show on earth. That intense shower only happens every 33 years...lucky me. the past showers were such disappointments, its either the sky is covered with thick clouds, or no single meteor appeared in the sky. I hope that there will be an meteor outburst this year. Or perhaps i wish that I could experience the meteor storm that happened on the year 1833, were 200,000 meteors streaked accross the atmosphere.

212 degrees*

At 211 degrees, water is pretty darn hot. But 212, its boiling, and making steam. Only one degree, but there is quite a difference. While hot water is a nice thing when you are taking a shower., boiling water has a lot more potential. You can use it to cook or to run a steam engine. I bet you are wondering what my point is. The point is, one degree made that difference. One, just one.
Take a look at your life right now. No matter where you are, or happy you are with it, there is always room for that extra degree. The one that takes you from hot to steaming! Take a look at the results that you are getting out of life.

Ther are so many little things that you can do to improve your skills, and therefore improve yourself. There are many things in life that we waste time on, professional and personal development are not some of them. Take some time to nurture your talents and your techniques. Before you know it, you'll be boiling.

turning twentyseven

Oh man, im turning twenty seven tomorrow....and i hate it. yup, still single up to now but im working on it...kinda worried about being single all these years.

I was thinkin since saturday about so many things.....it was depressing, thinkin what to do that im turning 27, my gameplans,my everyday personal battles, my future.Thank God yesterday, my relationship with Jesus Christ was renewed again, thank God! It was really refreshing. Thank You for You rescued me again from committing a big sin ( i wont give details on that sin,hey man that's somethin personal), my career status, yeah, coz im planning of moving out of this country but up to now my savings is not enough to kick my ass to the greener pasture. I pray that God will give me a glimpse of what will I become a year from now.

Did I grow up? What you think guys? Perhaps....a little bit....  but I still act like a child sometimes ( although, the signs of being childish was lessened after I left A&A).

By the way, thanks rachel for the dark chocolate that you gave me last saturday, i really enjoyed it, i was like on the state of nirvana while eating that hershey's bar.

Lagooners, A&A people(except for Joel Hermosura),Aileen Ludovico, Rhoeanne Van du Poot ( is it right?), Maam Pearl & Sir Andrew Oliveros(poster parents), LRT,Don Oredina, Tseleaux Banzon,Bernard Ranada, Switchfoot team... if you guys are reading this, I just want you to  know that you I really miss you.

Oh well, gtg.
